Professor of Biochemistry at Waikato University in New Zealand, Peter Molan, has conducted research showing that Manuka honey offers greater mineral, vitamin, and amino acid content than ordinary honey. Dr. Peter Molan developed and named the Molan Gold Standard™ (MGS) certification system. Molan Gold Standard™ (MGS) is a unique certification provided by WATSON & SON which requires all of its products to be tested through independent lab testing (ISO 17025 standard) before being launched on the market.
