More than four centuries have passed since the ancestors of Giusti family initiated the first series of barrels of balsamic vinegar in the attics of their home in Via Farini in 1605. Today, Giusti balsamic vinegars enrich dishes of the best chefs and decorate shelves of the most exclusive shops in Italy and rest of the world. Giusti Balsamic Vinegars have received numerous awards and recognition for the goodness of its product. Among the most representative, the 14 gold medals obtained at the Great Exhibitions of late 1800s. Due to their historical value and relevance, the medals are still part of Giusti’s iconographic heritage, appearing on labels designed in the early twentieth century.
Quality of Giusti Balsamic Vinegar conquered not only the Italians and Europeans, but also the King of Italy Vittorio Emanuele III, who granted Giusti the high title of “Supplier of the Royal House of Savoy” in 1929, conceding to Giusti the privilege of displaying the Royal Seal of Approval. It is still incorporated on all Giusti Balsamic Vinegars bottle as a symbol of the iconographic heritage of the brand.
Obtaining a great balsamic vinegar depends on the competence, experience and taste of its maker. Not only a careful selection of the grapes, but also the cooking system and above all the great complexity of the aging process, with casks of various woods and sizes. - Obtained according to the traditional system of “Decanter and Refill”, Giusti Reserve represents the most exclusive collection of the family
- Produced every year in extremely limited quantities, the balsamic vinegar is aged 50 years then drawn from the most ancient series of casks,which are owned by the Giusti family since the 1700s
- Characterized by a large aromatic bouquet and an unmistakable sweet and sour taste, with intense woody and ripe fruit notes
- Each bottle is numbered and finished by hand, stored in its precious individual wooden box with a small blown glass pipette
- A unique product decorated with labels of 24-karat gold and printed with the traditional letter-press technique
